all proceeds to go to families of the 9 firefighers from the City of Charleston Fire Department who died fighting a furniture store fire -- over $14,000 raised.

Thumper adds: Skeeter called friday looking for a gerenal, and Aerion mentioned he would be glad to. At the last moment he couldnt make it and LB "volunteered" -- I thought he knew the field, and I was suprised to find out after the game that he had never been there before...

I brought the base station and most of the guys had the new UHF radios -- and this was really the first instance where we put them to the test. from 10:00am till 3:30pm a group of around 6 of us ran missions. 2-3 missions at a time. we had the base above the swamp (Ft. Marvel?)

Missions went out via saled envelope on the hour and half hour via base ref to general. each issue had one to two missions varying in points from 10 points to 90 points - except for special missions which could reach 100 points. Supposedly a general lead mission could triple points - but we never recieved a general lead missions. However, Rasta was wearing the XO's kilt and ran missions with me all rar -and kept on after I stood down at 3:45. The refs had told us the general lead bonus points had to be on a mission card designated "BONUS for GENERAL LEAD)

AT 1:35pm I estimated we had completed 10 out fo 13 missions with one unaccounted for. We had one member present at all but one of these missions (one of the 3 that had failed) LB's record confirmed by count exactly.

a 3:45 we had completed 5 more. making my count 15 out of 18 missions complete with one unaccounted for.

I after the game that tumor (later heard from Tumor that at 2pm we lead (the green team) by a score of 2000 to 300 and my games end we had failed to complete 4 missions total.

Brain and or Skeeter informed me on 3-4 occassiona leading up to 3:00 that they were flipping players away from green team trying to help them pull there score up.

I later heard the final score was 1000 blue to 1250 Green (which is inconsistant with Tumors report) Below lists my blow by blow

10:05 - Game on
10:05 : Mission Objective : (80 points) Wooden Castle "Argyll Tower" -- Thumper and Rasta -- Mission Comlpete 10:39am -- fogging was a major problem for me. and the mission was unapposed. I was glad sicne I couldnt see. I did see Mo on the other team in the castle shoot one of our snipers trying to make it in -- I later heard from me that they held the castle (as their mission objective) for 29 minutes and mo was the last blue player and git shot with 1 minute left.
10:05 : Mission Objective : (20 points) Castle "Sterling Castle" -- Mission Failed -- LB sent what he could - it was lesser value so we took the other.
10:35 : Mission Objective : (50 points) Inverness (Beach Head) -- mission complete 11:04am -- Thumper and Rasta
11:05 : Mission Objective : Aberdeen -- Clay and Gerorge - hold for 30 minutes -- Mission Complete
11:05 : Mission Objective : Long Island -- Rasta and Thumper - hold for 30 minutes -- Mission complete 11:29am
11:35 : Mission Objective : Oban (junk yard) -- Rasta, Clay, George and Thumper -- hold for 30 minutes -- Mission complete 11:58am
11:35 : mission objective : Village -- Chappy -- Mission Failed.
11:35 : mission objective : Inverness - Thumper Lead - mission complete 11:55 -- We were told that the bridge at Orony was a "Force on Force" mission and expected the whole army would enemy come. We started both missions - I stated at teh beach head and placed Clay and George in the mounds to delay the enemy approach. Initially I placed Kyle on out right flank. 20-30 enemy approached fown the powerline and the ref sent them back. Kyle got off a few shots.
11:35 : mission objective : Bridge of Orony : Kyle & Thumper lead - mission complete 12:10
12:05 : Mission Objective : Harrass enemy base for 30 seconds =- Thumer lead -- redevoued at Inverness with small group of stragglers w/ mission card - took card and lead team taking back road behind junk yard. 1 defender. blue began spawn with 5 as we held with 6 -- I called retreat and mission completed at 12:30
at this point I estimated 8 or out 10 missions completed which matched the count in this report and with what LB had recorded at this point.
12:35 : Mission -- unknown -- I was out of country.
1:05 mission objective : Aberdeen (20 points) -- Thumper Lead -- Rasta and I split up on this one. I sent him in eth castle and LB kept pumping me troops at aberdeen and II directed traffic. left, right, center, left, right, center, deep sweep, wide right, center, center, center. Ill get I sent 50-80 troops to support the castle and its flanks. mission complete at 13:37

at this point I recored Section8/SCRoodkill had participated and or lead all but one mission and had completed 10/13 with the 12:35 flagged as unknown.
1:35 -- Mission Objective : Village -- Sean Lead -- unknown outcome.
1:35 -- Mission Objective : Perth (mounds field I think) -- Thumper, Rasta, George and Rasta -- we swept through the beach head and broke up into two kill teams. C/G went left and R/T went right through ridge and grass. enemy occupied mounds and tee-pees. we cleared out around half, but all died but clay. I passed the card to him as I walked out saying "your our our last hope - good luck". he grinned and shared a colorfull local expression about my parents. Mission Failed.
2:00 -- I heard around this time that TT mafia had enemy bracketed in their base for last 2 hours. I stepped down for 20 for lunch.
2:30 : Mission Objective : Long Island (Moor of Rannock) -- Rasta Lead - Mission complete
2:30 : Mission Objective : Pump Challenge - One on One Dual - Pumps on road @ God Box. Thumper w/ evo pump vs teenager w/ odessy sni2 -- Mission Complete - 100 Points.
3:05 : mission Obnjective : Beach Head - Mission complete @ 3:30 - Thumper lead.
3:05 : mission objective : Argyll Tower (new one) - mission complete @ 3:45 (TT Mafia on Channel 14 lead. I sent all troops (8) from my mission to support east flank.
4:00 : Mission Objective : Harrass enemy base 30 seconds -- possibly general lead. Rasta Lead. Mission Failed -- big spawn as he arrived.
4:30-6:30 I know TT Mafia and Rasta lead the remainter
6:30 -Game called due to inclimate weather and mutual concent w/ generals. Players seemed to greatly approve.

8:15 - sit down at Wildwing w/ Grendel, Clay, George, Tumor, Mo, Ross, Chappy, Kyle and Jeremy

Clay adds : Sonic and I were gald to meet several of the RoadKill team-mates this weekend. Rasta, man good fun with the run and gun stuff near the 'mounds' and 'junkyard'. We are looking forward to the fall, cooler weather, and we'll be back. Skeeter, Brain you guys have an awsome place!! We had as much fun playing as we did reffing!!
