Casino 4.14.07 afteraction report
missioned were in sealed numbered envelopes given to generals.
missions were called into base refs for synced opening at base by number code typically at 30 minute intervales. Initially missioned were hold for 25minutes - later reduced to hold for 10 minutes. It seemed all missions were conflicting missions but the final score does not seem to reflect this.
There was a standing 200 bonus points for General Lead missions.
Protocol also has a few ad-hoc missions for small bonus points (silly string assinations)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Henchmen Command:
General Mike "Aerion" Curtis
XO: Brian - Sprinklerstop (from Dog Co)
Teams : Section8/SC Roadkill (20) + JAPS/RIOT (8) + DOG CO(9)

00's Command:
General : Spyderman (Paincell)
XO: ??
Teams : PAINCELL (5) + OMNI FORCE (6) + PIRATES(5) + BLACK HEARTS (2) + Team CF(?)

76 players total by my headcount at safety briefing. Protocol reports 88 total.
We had around 30 at 2:00pm game restart.

Henchmen missions:

10:52 - mission objective : hold Prague for 25 minutes -- Mission Complete - General Lead (Aerion) (1200 points)

11:17 : mission objective Mbale - find suitecase of money. -- Mission Complete - General Lead (Aerion) (1700 points)

11:38 : mission objective : hold MADASCAR EMBASSY for 25 minutes -- (mission failed)

12:02 : mission objective : hold BAHAMAS for 25 minutes -- mission complete. (1000 points)

12:30 : mission objective : take AIRPORT -- mission complete - General Lead (Aerion) (1200 points)

2:00 : Poker game - Spyderman vs Aerion - Spydie won.

2:11 : mission objective : take CASINO ROYALE : Mission complete @ 2:22 - General Lead (Aerion) 1200points)

2:28 : mission objective: Hold BAHAMAS for 10 minutes - mission complete - steers lead. Deny enemy same after - possibly complete. conflict with ref onsite. Roadkill/section8 executed. (1000 points)

Thumper Adds : I duked it out once w/ Decon I think and 3 more paincell - (sporting them blue shirts) down near the creek trying to run that mission at the bahamas or venice. We just completed ours there, and you guys came in to collect also after the main henchmen forces left. The ref said 6 minutes to your guys (I was pretty close) - I started my watch and called in reinforcements. In 5:44 we had the spinner as a few roadkill came in the front and I closed in from the side and 2 orange henchmen closed in from the back. Some 00 kid there laying in the grass beside the spinner surrendered after we took the spinner. Pretty cool assault. good fun - THICK stuff down there.

Grendel adds: The "Kid" was laying down in some tall grass within 10 ft of the spinner. IF he had had paint he could have shot me in the back as I walked past him and turned. He scared the crap out of me when he said "I surrender I'm out of paint". He had solid color pants with BDU top on, might or might not of had a vest. Who ever he was he was nice and patient and hidden well. It really was too bad he did not have paint because he would have definitely gotten me and at least two or more additional Henchmen.

2:45 : mission objective : Blow AIRPORT - mission complete - steers lead w/ satchel charge. (100 points)
Aerion adds: I also eliminated Spyderman on that mission with a longball shot.

3:00: mission objective : Hold PRAGUE for 10 minutes - Mission complete. Steers lead. (1000 points)

3:10 : Mission objective : Hold VENICE for 10 minutes - General Lead (Aerion) - complete (1200 points)

3:30 : Mission objective: Hold VENICE and BAHAMAS - General Lead at VENICE (Aerion) - Steers Lead at BAHAMAS -- Both missions complete (2200 points)

Thumper adds: oh I got the back door on some pirates down by the creek during the last mission - I lead small force of henchman as we followed the 00's mission teams down the big hill towards the Bahamas and the creek - sliding between it and Paincell as they headed towards the airport - I held Robert (Dolfan) at the top of the hill as our squad's flank support - I left my squad and quickly moved deep into the pirate flank and got me two pirates - first one on the gun (he had no clue he was flanked) and last one one was a single shot between the shoulder blades as he fought the Section8 boys on the OTHER side of the creek. (I think Protocol called him out) -- then I ran out of air - but I held my ground shouting POW POW. Two 00 guys then angled me as my tree became woefully inadequate. ***sux bad to run out of air that deep in indian country.***
Sitting duk (Pirates) adds: Ah! That was you. You shot me. Haha, I was like crap...now they're coming from behind us, and in front, and from the sides. We're going to die, then you got me. Nice move though.

I think Robert worked on Paincell from their flank - last I saw they were in the open moving towards the airport and Robert was at their 5'oclock laying low.

(ps: classic german blitzkrieg maneuver)

Total by this count - 11,800 points. (I think protocol had 11,800)

Final Score: Henchmen 11,800 -- 00's : 8,200

CLAYDIRT ADDS : ... good time, great friends- Thats what SCRK had in Augusta yesterday.
DJ adds: Casino Royale Pics
Courtesy of Skip "Wraith99" Gossman. He really enjoyed playin with us and I appreciate everyone showing a him a good time. Of course I'd expect nothing less.

Skip is planning on attending the D-Day sceanario in Oklahoma (touted to be the biggest in the world) and another one in PA that is approx. 6K people. He said he'd gladly run with any SCRKLL or SEC8.

I have to admit I was not my normal paint slinging self with all the A-5 problems I was having. First time I've ever had problems. Of course its the first time I switched to HPA. So...I've ordered new cyclone parts (Vortex Cyclone Mod and Lightning Rod) The experts online say this is the solution to my problems, so we'll see.

Claydirt adds : On b 1/2 of Sonic and myself, Thanks guys. We enjoyed running w/ you fine bunch of paintball slinging, banana eating, mission COMPLETING, HILL CLIMBING (both ways) scenario ballers!!!!!! It was very refreshing to see young guys play with honor and intergrity. ... I would have enjoyed the field more if we could have staged in the field right behind our base, but that's just my legs talking. The guy that came as our guest had a blast. He has never played an organized paintball anything before yesterday. He is hooked, in fact we had to cut the leader in order to get him out of the truck. See you on the boards.

Protocol adds : Just a few of the events that I can recall from the game:

  • -Steers sprinting to 200 yards to the airport to blow up the plane in like 20secs (The shortest mission ever I think) Next time I will make that backpack weight 75 lbs to slow you down a little. But awesome job.
  • -Spyderman getting Thumper with silly string.
  • -Thumper shooting a SC Pirate with a PUMP OK who's going to fess up. Which one of you were owned.
  • -One of the SC Pirates did bunker a guy with silly strink for points. Very fun to watch. Who said you guys don't do missions?
  • -The card game in Casino Royal with a fire fight going on around us. Should have made the game last a little longer.
  • -Steers sprinting to another mission.
  • -The guy from Dog Company turning in a marker he found on the field. Thanks so much for your honesty.

Deebo adds : I really had a good time at Casino Royale! Enjoyed the people I met and played with. The last mission we ran was carried out so well. Attacked the bahamas/Madagascar from three fronts; the enemy didn't have a chance, not even if they had had twice the people. You know its a good mission when at the end Kyle and Steers are shooting at each other (all the enemy wiped out). Congrats to Angela on becoming a full member! Also, the BBQ was amazing, both that night and this morning for brunch. Yummy!
