2000 Panic in the Streets (Waynes World) (By Jami) 2000 May Waynes World - from the old school; Skeeter, Brain and Clank. Jami was there as an associate with the total number of players in our group around thiry five. We were defending the North Base for this one. At the onset all of our members made a strong push down the west road to try to stop the opposition from advancing. Within the first thirty minutes we were able to back them up to the village and their base. Our general assigned us a mission to attack their base. He also advised us that we would get bonus points for capturing their base. It took us about fifteen more minutes and we had completely overrun their base and eliminated all but five of their people who were holed up in the village under constant attack We spent the next two hours defending the south base against the opposition before the referees decided we had to move out of their base so they could attempt to run their first mission. We proceeded to attack their base again and spent the rest of the afternoon attacking their base while the rest of our side was running missions unfettered. During the dinner break our general stopped by to let us know that if he could give a most valuable team at this point we would be hands down the team to get it. During the dinner break the announcement was made that a hurricane was scheduled to hit Ocala later that night and the game was being cancelled. We spent the next couple of hours breaking down the campsite under constant rain and winds from the front of the storm. |
